The results of the crucial Super Tuesday primaries are in, and the 2016 U.S. presidential election appears to be shaping up as a showdown between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump.

On the Democratic side, Clinton triumphed in seven of the 11 states voting yesterday, while opponent Bernie Sanders won in four states.

Republican voters chose Trump, the candidate whose anti-Mexico rhetoric has roused widespread ire in Mexico, in seven states. After Super Tuesday, Trump appears to be the favorite for the Republican nomation, but Ted Cruz remains alive as a result of his winning yesterday in his home state of Texas as well as Oklahoma and Alaska. Marco Rubio was the choice only in Minnesota.

Here are the state-by-state Super Tuesday primary election results.
