Oil terminal planned for Progreso with $40M USD investment

The commercial director of Grupo Lodemo, Victor Patricio Cicero Alonzo, announced Wednesday Nov. 30, during the 25th Latin American Congress of Ports in Merida, the construction of a Fuel Terminal in the Port of Progeso, Yucatan, with an investment of $40 million US dollars.

It will be the first privately owned oil terminal and will have the capacity to store 70 million liters of fuels, which will guarantee the supply of the Yucatan Peninsula.

For the construction and operation of this new terminal, Grupo Lodemo created the company Hidrocarburos del Sureste.

The terminal will be ready for operation in January 2018.
