HUNUCMÁ, Yucatán – A heavy machinery worker died on Tuesday Dec. 20th, apparently due to a cardiac arrest, while working on a construction site, a few kilometers from the road leading to the San Antonio Chel police station, in the municipality of Hunucma, Yucatán.

The events occurred at 5:00 pm Tuesday December 20, when other construction workers found the now-deceased lying face down on the side of the backhoe he was driving.

The efforts to save the man were in vain, despite the use of first aid procedures, the worker had already died.

The man, with a robust body, lost his life on the grounds of a well-known pig farm.

Hours later, staff from the State Attorney General’s Office and the Forensic Medical Service arrived at the scene to initiate legal proceedings.
