The presence of model Nina Agdal, girlfriend of the actor Leonardo Dicaprio, caused a stir Thursday Dec. 15 in the center of Mérida. The Danish model took part in the recording of a promotional video for Yucatan, which caused traffic problems in some points.
The presence in Yucatan of Agda, 17 years younger than Dicaprio, coincides with the photographs that circulated this week on the Internet of the couple vacationing on Cancun beaches, accompanied by the best friend of the winner of the Oscar, Luka Haas. The images also made evident the over-weight kilos the actor currently has.
In social networks circulated images of the young woman, who has been featured in Sports Illustrated magazine and modeled for Victoria’s Secret, in the center of Mérida. Last Monday the 24-year-old model posted on her Instagram account a photo of herself on the beach. “Monday Blues,” subtitled in the photo, included a palm tree and blue-heart emoji, an image that would have been taken in Cancun.
Personnel from a private company filmed scenes in places such as the Plaza Grande, the temple of Nuns, 64th Street with 63; at the gates of the church of El Jesus (Third Order), at the intersection of streets 60 and 59, and in the area of Merida’s public markets.
Those responsible for the filming reported that these are promotional capsules commissioned by the Ministry of Tourism to promote the various attractions of Yucatan, to publicize the state as a tourist destination during the next year. In social networks another version circulated that the filming concerned ads for a European firm of solar blockers.
Around 60 people, including actors, production and logistics, participate in filming and attracted the attention of local and foreign tourists and pedestrians walking through the downtown areas of the city.
Agents of the Municipal Police made temporary closures to vehicular traffic, which caused congestion problems and inconvenience of dozens of drivers.
It was said that the purpose was to show the warmth, security and beauty of the state as a tourist destination- MEGAMEDIA
