TIZIMIN – According to Notimex, the National Chamber of Commerce of Mérida (Canacome, for its acronym in Spanish) will develop new financing and training programs to support the members of the Tizimín delegation, an organization composed of traders and businessmen from Eastern Yucatan.
The idea, according to the leader of the Canacome, Juan José Abraham Dáguer, is to assist the partners of that body located in that city to promote actions that detonate the commercial and tourist activity in the east of the state, where there is a great economic potential.
After swearing in the new governing council of the delegation that will represent the organization in Tizimín, a city located just 180 kilometers east of Merida, the leader explained that the idea is to help maintain the unity of the current partners and also attract new affiliates.
“In order to maintain unity and affiliation, it is important to have a dynamic chamber that promotes the economic development of this and all the regions of the state, and in the case of Tizimín is a large pole of commercial supply that serves other neighboring municipalities and that it could expand its supply niches outside the Yucatecan borders,” he said.
Therefore, affiliates to the National Confederation of Chambers of Commerce will have facilities to access credit systems that will consolidate and grow their businesses, which will be disseminated through all platforms operated by the local chamber.
Likewise, the partners of this city and other points of the entity will be able to access all the workshops and training programs offered by the Mérida delegation, which is the one with the largest number of partners in Yucatan.
“The commitment is to keep the entrepreneurs belonging to this organization updated and trained in issues of vital importance for the good operation of their businesses, to enable them to grow and increase their sources of employment,” said Abraham Daguer.
The Tizimín delegation will be presided by Emilia Aguilar Castillo, who after taking the oath, said that the municipality has important natural resources that are attractive to boost Tizimín as a new tourist destination, attracting domestic and foreign visitors.
These attractions, she said, will be the main factor that will be used to position this municipality in the tourist map of the state, with the integration of a good project, a good promotion and the organization of entrepreneurs that will achieve that the city of Tres Reyes is positioned as a new option to visit in Yucatan.
Aguilar Castillo called on Tizimileños entrepreneurs to be participative and proactive in the programs and actions that are driven to attend them, because only with the integration of each one of them the goals and objectives planned by the new Board of Directors will be achieved.
