MERIDA — In a press conference, the president of the National Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Services (CANACO SERVYTUR) of Merida, Juan José Abraham Daguer, highlighted the attractions that will be held from October 12 to 15 at Expoferia del Comercio, which expects to receive more than 300 thousand visitors in four days.

“The Expo Comercio is considered the most important event of this kind in the southeast of the country. To keep being attractive to the local public and visitors from other states that are attracted by its products, offers and innovations, this time it seeks the theme of the Mexican lottery, following the aim of keeping it alive in the new generations, as one of the most representative Mexican traditions,” remarked Abraham Daguer.

He also mentioned that in the event there will be the opportunity to buy: Clothing, footwear, linens, furniture, cars, technology, crafts, organic and natural products, as well as new creations, among many other products that will captivate buyers for their quality, design and price.

Also at the expo there will be included artistic and cultural shows for all ages, as well as a mechanical playground, interactive children’s farm, road education track, food court, among other attractions that visitors will enjoy.

The business leader stressed that on Friday Oct. 13, Saturday Oct. 14 and Sunday Oct. 15 contests will be made in which the prize will be a 32-inch Smart TV.

The Director of the Yucatan Fund from the Economic Development Secretariat, Juan Carlos Azar Rivero, explained that this year wholesale agents from the United States and the capital of the country will attend with the goal of making deals with food and textile suppliers.

Also Coca Cola will make a dynamic to raise funds to help the victims of the September 19 earthquake.
