MÉRIDA, Yucatán.- Cold front #35 will keep cloudy skies, warm weather and potential increase in rainfall in the region, as well high temperatures during the day, reported the National Water Commission (Conagua). through the Regional Hydrometeorological Center of Merida (CHMRM), of the National Meteorological Service (SMN).

According to the forecasts, Cold Front #35 is located on the northwest of the Caribbean Sea and its contribution of humidity would favor intervals of rain in the east, north and center of Yucatan state, as well as in the northern and central areas of Quintana Roo. For the rest of the Peninsula, isolated drizzles could occur.
The winds would be from the east-northeast from 15 to 25 kilometers per hour with gusts of over 45 kph.

The temperatures will be cool to warm at dawn and warm to hot during the day, from 28.0 to 32.0 degrees Celsius as maximums in Yucatan and Quintana Roo, as well as from 30.0 to 34.0 degrees in Campeche.

Maximum temperatures are expected from 31.0 to 35.0 degrees Celsius in Yucatan from 28.0 to 32.0 degrees in Quintana Roo and between 32.0 and 36.0 degrees in Campeche during the weekend.

By Sunday, the low pressure system in the north of the Gulf of Mexico will induce a trough, which will favor the increase in rain potential, with showers in the northeast and east of Yucatan, southwest of Campeche, as well as in the center and north of Quintana Roo.
