Christopher Collins Lee, violinist, became a protégé of Zino Francescatti at the age of sixteen, traveling with him throughout Europe on his final tours. He studied violin and composition at Curtis and Juilliard, earned a Doctorate degree, was a Fulbright Scholar, and has been awarded four Honorary Doctorate degrees. His other principal teachers were Dorothy DeLay, Arthur Grumiaux, Henryk Szeryng and Nathan Milstein.

Keith Paulson-Thorp (born 1955) is an American composer, organist and keyboardist. He received his doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 1978, his composition Five Laske Songs (for soprano, violin, guitar, harpsichord and percussion) earned him a BMI Student Composer Award. In addition to being the former director of music at the Mission Santa Barbara, a position he held from 2000 to 2005, he has done considerable research into the 200-year musical tradition there.
