A total of 21 designers from Quintana Roo and Yucatan presented their collections of clothes and accessories on the “Bohemia Chic” fundraiser catwalk in Valladolid on April 15, an event that is organized every year by the Venezuelan photographer Napoleón Machado.

Part of the proceeds of the event, held at Hacienda Sac Mucuy, was donated to the municipal DIF and the Lions Club to continue with their charity work.

“Thank you for your trust and support to show that it is not only modeling, but that it serves (to the models) to have more confidence on themselves and to potentiate their abilities” Machado said.

As every year, the catwalk marked the closing of the modeling and photopose workshops given by a team of psychologists, catwalk masters and experts in image and makeup, which are headed by Napoleón Machado.

The course started several months ago and the girls and young people attended every weekend to modeling and photography classes, among other disciplines. During the runway, the participants demonstrated the skills acquired and reinforced in the workshop.

The designers, from Playa del Carmen, Cancún, Mérida and Valladolid, showed their dresses, blouses, pants, swimwear and accessories manufactured in different colors and materials.

Attendees applauded each of the collections modeled by women and men on the catwalk.

The event donated a portion of its profits to the municipal DIF and the Lions Club. The cost of the ticket was $ 100 pesos and more than 200 passes were sold.
