I have the pleasure to share my interview with one of Merida, Mexico’s most innovative and creative fashion designers Kika Rodriguez.
With over 20 years in the fashion industry Kika`s inspiring couture collections are colorful, intricate and custom-made. Her designs are both a mix of cutting-edge creativity and traditions deeply rooted in the Yucatecan culture. She works intimately with the local artisans and is an advocate of paying the Mayan embroiders a fair wage and providing them a fair working environment. She dresses people from all over the world.
