Mérida City Council will take “vulnerable social groups” representatives to visit Logos Hope

MÉRIDA, Yuc.- The City Council of Mérida will take people from “vulnerable social groups” to visit the Logos Hope boat during their stay from the 19th to the 23rd of this month. These people will be able to visit this attraction that comes to Yucatan for the first time.

The first group to visit the floating library will be the senior citizens of the Integral Center for the Fullness of the Elderly “Reborn” (Centro Integral para la Plenitud del Adulto Mayor “Renacer”).

In the same way, the children belonging to the “Construyendo Familias” program, which headquarters are located at Mérida’s San Benito market.

The Logos Hope is docked in the high port of Progreso, but it will be until next week when it will be open to the public, where besides offering books, it will also offer cultural events and theatrical plays.
