Half of the states of the Mexican Republic, reported an increase in its economies during the second quarter of the year, which goes from April to June, these stats are based on figures from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI). Yucatan was one of the states that registered a significant increase.
The economic activity in relation to the first quarter of 2018 for the state was quite good. Similarly, in terms of annual variations adjusted for seasonality, the state also had an outstanding rating.

- Colima: 2.0 %
- Puebla: 1.9%
- Veracruz: 1.9%
- Coahuila: 1.1%
- Guanajuato: 1.1%
- Nuevo León, 1.0 %
- Yucatan: 0.9%
- Sinaloa: 0.9%
- Chihuahua: 0.9%
- Quintana Roo: 0.9%
The states that registered an decrease in their economic activity are:
- Aguascalientes: -3.3 %
- Tabasco: -3.0%
- Hidalgo: -3.0%
- Chiapas: -2.8%
- Tlaxcala: -2.1%
- San Luis Potosí: -1.6%
- Guerrero: -1.6%
- Zacatecas: -1.5%
- Sonora: -1.2%
- Nayarit: -1.2%
And the states that showed a growth in annual variations adjusted for seasonality, are:
- Baja California Sur
- Oaxaca
- San Luis Potosi
