Jean Philippe Guillot, co-founder of the Club Sibarita festival, which aims to become one of the Mexican references for gastronomy and the culinary industry, explained in a press conference the main activities of its third edition, which is currently ongoing in Mérida, Yucatán.

Regarding the importance of this festival, Martha Ortiz, one of the guest chefs pointed out that “in Club Sibarita there is a really plural representation of what is happening in Mexican cuisine”.

Ortiz also highlighted how Mexico is gaining ground culturally around the world: “I think there is a growth in Mexican cuisine and that is also reflected internationally, especially by the great Mexican chefs working all over the world”.

Philippe Guillot said that this culinary experience will have three spectacular venues:

Pueblo Pibil (underground food restaurant).
La Hacienda Xcanatún (luxurious hotel with 18 suites located in the heart of the Mayan world).
Altozano (one of the most impressive real estate projects in the region)

The guests of Club Sibarita will also tour Valladolid, where they will visit archaeological site, cenotes and taste the local cuisine.

Club Sibarita, founded by entrepreneurs Jean Philippe Gillot Lomelín and Carolina Molina Marrufo, is a gastronomic and cultural experience that any Mexican food lover can not miss.
