The collection company will present a proposal to create a certified collection center before federal, state and municipal authorities.
(MERIDA YUCATAN) – The president of the Board of Directors of the Pamplona Professional Cleaning and Hygiene Services Company Sergio Zapata has reported that at the end of this year they will present to federal, state and municipal authorities a project to create a waste separation center with all the proper environmental regulations. “It will be a collection center, a transfer plant for proper separation of waste. It is a project that we will present to the three orders of government so they can endorse it and comply with environmental standards for separation, we want to look for an area near the landfill that does not affect any urban zones,” he expressed.
Zapata added that at present, the company is no longer focusing on just collecting garbage but also on the proper management and separation of waste to avoid any damage to the environment and health.
For this reason, constant training is being sought to obtain the certifications corresponding to the standards in order to comply with the provisions of environmental care. “We are looking for appropriate courses that have to do with the environmental standards, what should be done in the processes of garbage collection (sic); and garbage collection and safety standards required,” he said.
Sergio Zapata stated that the regulations provide new forms of collection and final disposal of solid waste, so they must be in constant training to comply with the stipulated.
