The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) of the state of Veracruz confirmed the arrest of Jesus “N”, aka “El Lagarto”, for his alleged participation in the massacre in Minatitlán.
As reported on The Yucatan Times, on the night of April 19, armed individuals entered a restaurant in southern Veracruz and opened fire on dozens of people attending a private party.
Thirteen people, including a minor, died on the site and one more died in the hospital.
The first detainee in relation to this massacre was Adrián “N”, aka “El Pelón”, an employee of Pemex who was arrested in Coatzacoalcos as alleged material author.
The second was Ernesto “N”, alias “El Mingo”, another one of the presumed ones involved in the massacre and brother of “El Largarto”. They caught him in possession of several kilograms of drugs and firearms.
And on Thursday, May 9, the Veracruz Public Security Secretariat (SSP) confirmed the arrest of Jesus “N”, aka “El Lagarto”, for his alleged leadership and participation in the massacre of Minatitlán.
The accused was captured in Escárcega, Campeche for his alleged participation in the events that took place on April 19 in the city of Minatitlán in southern Veracruz.
