Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal met with companies that can generate more and better paid jobs for the Yucatecans, as well as with officials and directors of Mexican companies that are an example of success and that can be replicated in Yucatan, on the second day of the commercial and business mission that it leads to attract investments from the aeronautical and space industry of the highest technological level in the world to Yucatan.
Vila Dosal participates in the 53rd International Exhibition of Aeronautics and Space, in an express visit and an intense work agenda from June 18 to 20, accompanied by Ernesto Herrera Novelo, head of the Ministry of Economic Development and Labor (Sefoet). This biannual exhibition is an ideal place for the promotion of companies belonging to different industrial sectors. The next exhibition will be in 2021.
João Pedro Taborda, Vice President of Government Affairs for Europe, Middle East and Africa, for the Brazilian company Embraer, explained to Vila Dosal the manufacturing processes and products developed by his company.
The manager said that today they are exploring the possibility of developing their supply network in Mexico through companies that can provide them with different parts for the interiors of their aircraft.
In this sense, Vila Dosal proposed Embraer to consider Yucatan as an option, since the state features skilled labor and is looking for companies that want to invest in the state.
