The NH Collection Merida Paseo Montejo Hotel was inaugurated on Wednesday July 17, a new arrival point for the leisure or business traveler, which seeks to offer their customers a different experience.
This is the eighth NH hotel in Mexico and the first in Merida, which, under the “Collection” brand. This opening confirms the group’s long-term investment strategy in the “upper-upscale” segment.
In the inauguration ceremony, the director of the brand for Latin America, Eduardo Bosch, pointed out that the new property combines in an exceptional way the history of Merida together with comfort and modernity; with a distinctive and elegant touch, traditional, but contemporary at the same time, and that represents a perfect addition to the portfolio of NH Collection properties around the world.
He stressed that one of its attractions is the façade inspired by the plant of henequen and the old haciendas, an ornamental element that is present in the 120 rooms that comprise the property, giving each one of them an elegant touch.
In terms of gastronomy, in addition to its restaurant’s extensive menu, NH offers global trends in line with healthy eating habits such as vegetarian, vegan, detox, organic and gluten-free food and beverages, without forgetting the importance of the local cuisine.
The regional director of NH Hotel Group for Mexico and Cuba, Massimo Baldó, informed that with the opening of the new hotel they reinforce a leadership of strategic importance in places like Mérida, Mexico City, Amsterdam, Munich and New York, as well as reaffirm the unstoppable growth that the brand boasts around the world, being Mexico the most important point in the expansion plans within the American Continent.
The NH Collection Merida Paseo Montejo Hotel features high speed internet and wi-fi connection, rain shower, ergonomic furniture, 49 ‘TV screens in all rooms, safe, coffee maker, mini bar, restaurant, and room service among other services.
It also has four event halls with a capacity for up to 200 people, coordinated by a qualified event planner specialist.
In addition, those who choose NH Collection Mérida Paseo Montejo as the venue for their events, can count on the “Ambassador Service” for groups of more than 100 people, who will be in charge of giving them a first class service.
Currently, the company operates 80 NH Collection hotels in 15 different countries, which are located in the main cities of Europe and Latin America.
