In an Instagram story, in addition to the fact that he appears posing, Lance placed icons of the flag of sexual diversity and the Mexican flag at the top of Valladolid Cathedral’s photograph…
A photo which by the way, went viral on social networks.
It is noteworthy that Lance Black is an activist in favor of the rights of the LGBTQ community and often uses his social networks to express his position on the issue, as he did for Yucatan, where equal marriage has been rejected twice by the local Congress.
Before publishing the aforementioned story, Yucatecan activists welcomed Lance and his husband to the state through Twitter and contextualized that local authorities do not recognize the rights of homosexual families.
As a scriptwriter, Lance won the Oscar in 2008 for the movie Milk, which starred Sean Penn and Diego Luna.
And he has been married for some years with Olympic diver Tom Daley, with whom he came to Yucatan on vacation, and where they have already visited Chichen Itza, Valladolid and Mérida, among other attractions.
Tom and Lance also brought their little baby boy with them on their trip to Yucatàn, Mexico.
