After a series of alliances signed by Quintana Roo with France, destinations such as Cancun and the Riviera Maya, (including of course Tulum and Playa del Carmen) will be promoted in that country and throughout Europe.

Within the second activity of the Quintana Roo officials working tour through France, work meetings were held with some of the main representatives of the French tourism industry.

In a statement, it was announced that the main purpose is to establish different mechanisms and alliances, as well as communication actions to increase the promotion of the 13 destinations of the Mexican Caribbean, as well as the presentation of Quintana Roo state tourism products and circuits.

The presentation was given by Lizzie Cole, Director of Promotion of the Tourism Promotion Council of Quintana Roo (CPTQ), and was attended by French authorities, airlines, travel agencies such as Comptoir des Voyages and Maisons de Voyages; specialized tourist facilities such as Tour Hebdo; as well as international tour operators: Karavel Promovacances, Thomas Cook, TUI France, NG Travel and the Indigo Consulting Digital Business and Marketing Agency.

Similarly, the Mexican ambassador to France, Juan Manuel Gómez Robledo, shared information about Guest Assist, the tourist assistance program, in his social networks, emphasizing that the orientation is 24 hours, 7 days a week, and that it will soon be available in French.

According to information provided by Tourism authorities, France is the tenth most important foreign market for the Mexican Caribbean, for this reason, the Tourism Development Secretariat (Sedetur) of Quintana Roo and the CPTQ, are focusing on the strengthening of international alliances.
