Residents of the municipality of Dzilam de Bravo, Yucatán, took pictures and video of a large crocodile that was “chilling” righ in the middle of a street that got flooded after the heavy raining of last Sunday November 3rd.
The impressive finding was published on social networks, where a young woman identified as María B. posted on her Facebook account a photograph of a crocodile right in the middle of Calle 15, which was totally flooded.
The woman indicated that the finding was made in front of her house on the mentioned street, after a heavy rain flooded some of the streets of this municipality in eastern Yucatan.
Given this situation, several people used social networks to encourage the population to be careful when passing through the ponds at night and not allow children to go out to play in the street.
Similarly, other residents asked the authorities for a plan to provide security against any wild animal attack, since they had seen crocodiles several times in the sea, but never on the middle of the street like this time.
