Tlaxcala, (December 04, 2021).- One person dead and at least five injured, one of them very serious, is the preliminary balance of the collision between a cargo truck and three vehicles at kilometer 208 of the Arco Norte highway in the limits of the Tlaxcala municipalities of Españita and Sanctórum. Due to the collision, the units involved were consumed by fire.
On the morning of Friday, December 3rd, motorists who were circulating on the Arco Norte highway in the direction of San Martín Texmelucan, Puebla, were surprised by a column of smoke that reached 30 meters high, who approached the point confirmed that four vehicles were burning in calls.
According to the preliminary report of the National Guard Highway Division, a trailer carrying scrap metal rammed the three vehicles, it is known that the driver was driving with excess speed, lost control, and collided with the compact units.

- It is known that one of the motorists hit by the trailer on the Arco Norte track, died at the scene, five people were injured and were transferred to various hospitals in the state of Tlaxcala, one of the injured is reported very serious.
The circulation in both directions of the Arco Norte highway is stopped and according to preliminary reports , a group of armed individuals approached the area to assault the stranded motorists.
Agents of the Attorney General’s Office of Tlaxcala carried out the procedures to remove the corpse of a man, who was transferred to the morgue of the Northern Zone Crime Investigation Unit located in Apizaco.
So far, circulation remains closed while debris removal work is carried out from the damaged and burned units on the highway.
