Umán, Yucatán, (December 27, 2021).- The municipal police permanently 24 hours a day, in all colonies, neighborhoods, subdivisions, and communities, in order to guarantee a celebration without incidents.
Day of tranquility and minor incidents resulted in a white balance in the municipality of Umán on the occasion of the Christmas festivities, for which the City Council of Umán recognized civility and citizen harmony, as well as the disposition of the police elements of the community to safeguard order in this year’s December operation.
Official reports revealed a total of 13 detainees at the cut-off of the 48 hours of the special operation, of these six were arrested for drunkenness and causing a scandal on public roads, two for breathalyzer, one for carrying crystal, one for injury minor to his couple inside their premises, and three more people due to minor injuries due to fights in the same different incidents.
-A quiet day and with minor incidents was what was recorded on the night of December 24 and early in the morning of December 25 in Umán. The good work of the Municipal Public Security Directorate is noted when the environments of peace and tranquility surround Umán, – said in this regard the Municipal President of this city, Gaspar Ventura Cisneros Polanco.
For this reason, the good work of the Municipal Police was recognized, commanded by Inspector Roberto Iván Pacheco Aranda, Director of Public Security in Umán, thus contributing to the Capital City of Industries as a safe city.

It is important to note that although the surveillance by the elements of the municipal police is carried out every day, the special December operation consists of reinforcing security on the specific days of the festivities, being for this case the 24 and 25 of the present . For this reason, on December 30 and 31 as well as January 1, the same special dynamics will be held to guarantee healthy coexistence and harmony in Umán.
