Merida, Yucatan, (December 20, 2021).- A person died as he was hit by a car while crossing International Avenue, one of the main avenues in Merida’s Ciudad Industrial. Because of the blow, the pedestrian lost his life instantly.
The accident happened around 10 o’clock at night on Saturday, December 18th, on International Avenue between Calle 20 and Calle 24 of Ciudad Industrial, where Julio R.C.A. 29-year-old, unexpectedly crossed one of the traffic lanes and was hit by a Chevrolet Spark compact vehicle, with Yucatan license plate number ZBX-325-C car, driven by Kevin W.
Due to the blow, the young pedestrian lost his life instantly and was confirmed by SSP paramedics.
The place was cordoned off by state officials, while staff from the State Attorney General’s Office took charge of the corresponding procedures.
