Mérida, Yucatan, (December 17, 2021).- In order to promote physical activity and healthy family life, the Secretariat of National Defense, through the X Military Region and 32 / a. Military Zone, invite the general population to enjoy the “Sunday Walk”, which will take place on December 19, 2021, from 08:00 to 14:00, at the facilities of Military Camp No. X, located in“ Centenario del Ejército Mexicano ”avenue (42 South) of Mérida, Yucatán.
The purpose of the “Sunday Walk” is to make the civil population aware of the different activities carried out by the Mexican Army and Air Force in the fulfillment of each of the assigned missions, as well as to strengthen ties of friendship between the Armed Forces and the population, in addition to enjoying the sports and dynamic activities organized by military personnel with their families.
The entrance to this activity is totally free, a strict sanitary control will be followed and the use of a mask will be mandatory, so that attendees will be able to walk, run, jog or ride a bicycle in a comfortable and safe way.
During the route of the tour, visitors will appreciate the different aspects of military life, in addition, modules will be enabled allusive to the DN-III-E Plan, Health, Transmissions, War Materials, Canine Training Track, as well as Pinta Caritas, Vehicle Exhibition Collection and Motorcycles, Prize Raffle Tombola, Children’s Games and many more surprises.
With these activities, the Mexican Army and Air Force ratify their commitment to carry out civic actions and social works that tend to the progress of the country.
