Mérida, Yucatán, (December 13, 2021).- A motorcyclist was injured after running over a deer while traveling on the Mérida-Progreso highway. In the accident the animal lost its life.

The events occurred around 9 in the morning, when the 28-year-old man named Luis Ángel was driving his Italika motorcycle with LAF9M Yucatan license plate, from Mérida to Progreso, and at kilometer 13, he ran over a deer. it suddenly crossed him on his way.
In the accident, the deer died at the scene, while the crew member of the motorcycle was injured and had to be assessed by SSP paramedics.
