Merida, Yucatan, (December 27, 2021).- Within the 24-hour framework of Christmas Day, the General Hospital of Valladolid received the first infants born in the east of the state.

The director of that campus, Lorena Barradas Rodríguez, reported that, at 1:35 a.m., a child weighing 2,855 kilograms was born, the son of Lina Patricia Chan Puc, who thanked the care provided by professionals in the field.

Later, at 3:03 a.m., Cindy Marisol Castillo Medina had a 2,869-year-old boy, and at 4:20 a.m. Wilma Estrella Balam gave birth to a 3,130 girl. Thanking the staff of the various areas of the hospital for the care provided to the infants, the official reported that both the infants and the mothers are in good condition.

The director of the San Carlos de Tizimín Hospital, Adrián Cepeda, said that at that Hospital Center at 0530 hours, Silvana Floriceli Hau Cupul had a girl weighing 3 kilograms, both are in good health.

Finally, the owner of the Peto Community Hospital, Raquel González, stated that Adriana Isabel Chacón Vázquez had a 3,280 girl at 6:07, and H. Tun Rivero became the mother of a 2,870 baby at 9: 25; all of them are reported in optimal situations.
