Merida, Yucatan, (December 09, 2021).- After almost two years of waiting, geeks and otakus will be able to attend the Tsunami Mérida 2021 convention that will take place this December 11 and 12 at the Siglo XXI Convention Center. It is one of the best-ranked events in anime, manga, comics, and video games.
Among the novelties that the Tsunami convention will bring in its 37th edition, the presence of Mario Castañeda, a dubbing actor recognized for interpreting the voice of Goku in the Dragon Ball franchise, stands out.
Similarly, Miguel Ángel Leal, who plays Eren Jaeger in Atack of Titans, and Lupita Leal, who plays Carly Shay in I Carly, will be at the convention.
Cosplayers such as Misaki TL, Brenditz, Hato Joestar, Yerahoney, Nere Sama, and Gentleman BMO will also attend the event.
During the Tsunami there will be a cosplay contest in group and individual modalities, on Saturday and Sunday respectively. In both, the first three places will be awarded from 300 to 1,500 pesos.
K-Pop fans will also have the opportunity to test their skills in the same categories. In this case, the prizes range from 250 to 1,000 pesos.

Simultaneously, in an adjoining room, Expo Bazar de Artesanías will take place, with the participation of more than 120 exhibitors, both local and national, offering a wide variety of products.
Tickets to attend the 36th edition of Tsunami can be purchased through the portal www.tsunamimerida.com/boletos at a price of 140 pesos per day. The same will be sold at the box office of the event.
