MÉRIDA, Yucatán.- The recklessness of the driver of a 10-ton truck could have ended in a tragedy since for more than 20 kilometers he traveled in the opposite direction on the Mérida-Valladolid federal highway.

The fact was recorded in a video published on social networks by Socializing Ando Yucatán, which shows how the vehicle is traveling at high speed along the aforementioned road.

According to what was reported, they had been following the truck from Kantunil.

The images show how the cars and trailers dodged the truck since it was even about to collide with a fuel truck pipe and a passenger bus.

During his journey, he stopped twice, but only for a few moments, since then he continued on his way.

The occupants of the truck were detained by the authorities.

The events were reported to the authorities so that they could intervene and prevent a mishap, so finally, a Seyé Municipal Police patrol managed to stop the truck from moving.

Given this, two men got out of the truck, who apparently was under the influence of some toxic substance.
