The Corruption Perception Index (CPI) is an index which ranks countries “by their perceived levels of public sector corruption, as determined by expert assessments and opinion surveys.
(MEXICO – OECD).- Mexico did not advance in the 2021 Corruption Perception Index (IPC) released this Thursday, January 25th, by the organization Transparency International , which kept Mexico on site 124 of 180 countries evaluated.
Mexico maintained a rating of 31 points out of 100, the same as the previous year, according to the index , considered the main global indicator for measuring corruption.
“Mexico continues to be the worst evaluated country in terms of corruption of the 38 countries that make up the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). In the G20, Mexico occupies position 18, above Russia”, says the study.
