Merida, Yucatan, (January 6, 2022).- With a capacity for up to 500 people, this Wednesday, January 5, at 10:00 p.m., the traditional Alborada del Mérida Fest 2022 was held on downtown, featuring troubadours singing to the white city on its 480th anniversary of foundation.
The event was held in the Plaza Grande with the participation of the winners of the calls: Interpretive Quality and Composition of Trova Yucateca 2021, as well as various trios.
As part of this annual meeting, there will be premieres, international stars, new stagings, as well as artistic and cultural activities that will reach police stations and neighborhoods in Mérida.
Drone show in Mérida
This Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 January, at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on both days, a drone show will be seen in Paseo de Montejo. On Friday, January 7th, this show can be observed at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Thursday, January 6th concert with Juan Pablo Manzanero
The Mérida Fest 2022 will continue this Thursday, January 6, when the Inaugural Concert of the Mérida Fest 2022 “Bambucos y Boleros: Esencia de la Tierra. Two Emotions ”.
The group Yahal Kab, the international guests Kate James and Oriol Karo, and the Mexican singer and composer Juan Pablo Manzanero will participate in this event, who will perform songs in tribute to his father, Armando Manzanero.
The concert “Bambucos y Boleros: Esencia de la tierra. Dos Emociones” will be held in the Bajo del Palacio Municipal de Mérida with a capacity for a thousand people.
