The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) charged D.A.M.Ch. for the crimes of family violence and injuries committed against his pregnant sentimental partner, in Merida’s Villa Bonita subdivision.
After the corresponding complaint, the specialists of the Prosecutor’s Office began with the investigation, from which it follows that on April 16 the accused arrived at his home in the aforementioned subdivision, where he carried out abusive acts against his sentimental partner, causing her injuries, which would take less than 15 days to heal, for which the formal complaint was filed with criminal case number 115/2022.
In the hearing held at the Mérida Oral Justice Center, the Second Judge of Control decreed the legality of the detention and then the litigation prosecutors presented the evidence contained in the investigation folder, and the Control Judge established the hearing to be resumed on April 22.
Before concluding the diligence of the day, the litigation prosecutors presented the arguments to support the request for justified preventive detention as a precautionary measure, which was granted by the Control Judge for the entire duration of the process.
So the accused will remain behind bars until his participation in the events is clarified.
