Vila and Ojeda Durán continued working on the project to expand and modernize the Port of Progreso.
Likewise, the Governor and the Secretary of the Navy reviewed other strategic projects that will promote the development of Yucatan and the generation of jobs for the benefit of Yucatan families.
Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal held a meeting with the head of the Ministry of the Navy (Semar), Admiral José Rafael Ojeda Durán, to continue working on the project to expand and modernize the port of Progreso, which will contribute to the development of Yucatán.
During the meeting, Vila Dosal and Ojeda Durán also reviewed other strategic plans, with which they will continue to promote the state’s progress and generate jobs that will benefit Yucatecan families, while reaffirming their commitment to continue working as a team.
In this sense, they agreed to maintain channels of communication to ensure that these projects continue to move forward until they begin to show results.
There, the head of the Semar acknowledged Governor Vila Dosal’s interest in promoting joint plans and urged to continue operating in a coordinated manner, in actions and strategies that contribute to increase the port’s potential.
