The young Katherin Sinaí López Pacheco was reported missing after not knowing her whereabouts for 36 hours

The 16-year-old girl left her home since last December 16 in the Xoclán Santos de Mérida neighborhood and did not return.

Relatives of the minor went to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) to activate the Amber Alert in Yucatan due to her disappearance.

This is the fifth alert issued during the month of December, of which so far only one minor has been located in Cuzamá.

Katherin Sinaí López Pacheco wore a black sweater, blue jean pants, colored bracelets on both wrists, white tennis shoes, and a pink backpack.

Her family fears for the integrity of the adolescent since she may be the victim of a crime. For this reason and due to the danger that she represents, the Amber Alert was activated.

As well mentioned, it is the fifth alert that has been activated in less than a week with the disappearance of five minors in Yucatan.

Until now, only one minor from the municipality of Cuzamá has been located by the Specialized Unit for the Search for Missing and Unlocated Persons of the FGE.
