March 23.- In his morning conference today, Andrés Manuel López Obrador was questioned about the existence of the Military Intelligence Center and its use of Pegasus by the SEDENA.

To which AMLO responded that there is nothing illegal, that intelligence work is done, because it is much better than force, and that work is done by the National Intelligence Center.

He denied the work of the Military Intelligence Center and stressed that intelligence and not espionage must be carried out.

He was questioned about the fact that the Military Center operates with Pegasus, independent from the National Intelligence Center, since they are two different agencies.

“We have different information. I have another piece of information. The National Intelligence Center does not operate Pegasus and it is a brand and there are equivalent systems everywhere, and in Mexico they use systems that carry out the same as Pegasus,” AMLO said.

He added that he does not know where they are getting this information from, to which the reporter replied that it comes from Guacamaya’s leak.

“Who is Guacamaya? Who hacked that information? I suspect that they are international agencies linked to the conservative group headed by Claudio X. González. That information is illegal, because it cannot be hacked from any agency, that is what Carlos Loret de Mola uses, it is fed by Guacamaya and Proceso as well”, AMLO mentioned.

He assured that today he will inform how the investigation and intelligence is done to confront organized crime gangs.
