Merida, Yucatan, March 23rd, 2023.- Agents of the Merida Municipal Police proceeded today to locate the minor G.R.C.P., 17 years old, reported missing in the Tzibincab police station in the municipality of Uman.
As a result of joint work with the Municipal Police of Uman, a report of the minor’s loss was received through a call to our Monitoring and Command Control Center, indicating that the minor had left her home due to family problems.
The police officers conducted an operation in the center of the city, locating G.R.C.P. at 4:10 p.m. inside a hotel on 71st Street between 70th and 68th Streets.
As part of the protocols established by this police corporation, officers from the Specialized Unit for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Gender Violence went to the scene to interview the minor.
It should be noted that personnel from the Instituto Municipal de la Mujer del municipio de Uman (Municipal Institute for Women of the municipality of Uman) also arrived at the scene.
G.R.C.P. was transferred to the Legal Affairs department of the corporation for the registration of her belongings in the presence of the director of the Municipal Women’s Institute of Uman, Naomi del Carmen Reyes Cárdenas, who proceeded to hand over the minor to said institution for the corresponding purposes.
