Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal highlighted the benefits of the state for attracting investment, accompanied by the president of this organization, José Domingo Figueroa Palacios.
What is happening in Yucatan is that we are clear about how far and where we want to go, so we are working together, always favoring dialogue and resolving our differences, said Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal to members of the National Board of Directors of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF).
At the head of the meeting together with the president of that organization, José Domingo Figueroa Palacios, the Governor affirmed that the state and the country need more joint efforts and less confrontation, which has led to very important things happening, resulting in historic indicators on employment, economic growth, tourism and security.
The head of IMEF highlighted the development that the territory presents, as a result of its rule of law and security, which give a lot of confidence to come and invest. “I am sure that with the work led by Vila Dosal, the future of Yucatan is very promising,” he added.
For his part, the local leader of the Institute, Juan Manuel Brito Segura, highlighted the vision that has characterized Vila Dosal’s administration, “he is a leader more than a Ruler, he knows where he wants to take the state and is laying the foundations for a better and more promising future for new generations.”

This is a consequence of actions such as increasing 72% the budget of the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP); through the Yucatan Seguro program, providing equipment, technology and training to police officers, and improving their working and social conditions, with competitive salaries and a private medical care scheme for work-related accidents.
