A woman lost her life after the motorcycle she was driving was struck by a pickup truck in a neighborhood in the municipality of Valladolid.
The incident occurred when the Toyota pickup truck with Chiapas state license plates hit the blue Itálika motorcycle without license plates.
It is presumed that the pickup truck blew the total stop at the intersection of 41st and 12th Streets in Colonia Militar, and was traveling from north to south, while the motorcycle was traveling from west to east with right of way.
As a result of the impact, the rider of the motorcycle lost her life instantly.
The deceased was originally from Tesoco, municipality of Valladolid.
Valladolid police paramedics confirmed that the young woman no longer had vital signs.
The place was cordoned off by police agents until the arrival of the State Attorney General’s Office and Semefo for the corresponding legal proceedings.
