In this second edition, 10 sheep producers, 15 miniature rooster breeders, 10 artisan honey, jam, wood, clay, and handmade soap producers, as well as rabbit breeders and much more, are participating.
The Municipal President of Umán, Dr. Gaspar Ventura Cisneros Polanco, expressed that they are betting on a fair of opportunities where Umán producers have spaces that help them consolidate their businesses throughout the state and allow them to distribute their products and services to strengthen their family economy.
Coordinated work is a fundamental axis for the current administration, which is why, by the mayor’s instructions, the spaces assigned to producers were completely free, and with the support of the Secretary of Rural Development (SEDER) of the State Government, a subsidy of 6,000 pesos will be given to producers who want to acquire a male sheep to improve the genetics of their animals.
A warm invitation is extended to attend the fair and enjoy the activities that will be taking place in the livestock area such as the presentation of the New San José Band, live music, an exhibition of miniature roosters, a horse exhibition, and Sunday 23, the rooster fight will take place starting at noon.
