It has been almost three months since Lilith Saori Arreola Alvear disappeared after going on vacation with her friends from Mexico City to Oaxaca and although the authorities issued a search warrant, they have had no results. Her desperate mother asks for the help of the authorities and citizens to find her whereabouts.
It all began on January 31, 2022, when Lilith Saori traveled to celebrate the New Year with her partner Karim and her friends Melissa and Carlos to Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. Everything was going well until her family lost track of her on January 2, 2023, the last they heard, she disappeared on the beach of Zicatela.
Her partner and friends changed their statements
Her mother, Joanna Itandegui Alvear Huaracha, narrated in an interview for Imagen Television with Raul Flores Martinez, that there are contradictions in the statements of her companions and her partner, who when giving their first statement said that “she leaves the hotel running barefoot and with the cell phone of her partner Karim, they went after her but Lilith enters an area of the beach that is dark and there they lose sight of her”. However, in the amplification of the statement Carlos says that he did catch up with her but that he had forgotten about it, Melissa maintains that he caught up with her but that Lilith continued running and her partner did not even show up to testify.
The woman affirms that so far the authorities have two lines of investigation: that she is wandering around the beaches after getting angry with her companions or that she drowned in the sea, but she regretted that since February 17 they told her that they would put a new person in charge of the case and that they told her that the Public Ministry would take charge and would communicate with her, but so far this has not happened.
According to the search report issued on January 7 by the Oaxaca Prosecutor’s Office, Lilith is wearing a white tank top, black denim shorts, black bra and is barefoot. Lilith is of slim build, 1.50 centimeters tall, with bushy eyebrows, fair complexion, square face, large eyes, medium-sized mouth, brown eyes, large nose, broad forehead, oval chin and long black hair. As a particular sign she has an anime tattoo on both legs and arms as well as manga panel tattoos on her forearms.
Lilith Saori’s real name is Angel Arreola Alvear, since she is a transgender girl, the lady told that by her own decision she decided to change her name although not legally and that she has your unconditional support in this process. She asks for your help to the authorities to reinforce the search for the minor, she does not lose hope of locating her daughter.
