Valladolid is the fourth most visited Magic Town in Mexico

MÉRIDA, Yucatan – Valladolid is the fourth most visited Magical Town in Mexico and was ranked among the 10 magical towns with the most travel bookings during the first quarter of 2023.

According to the booking website despegar.com, the “Sultana de Oriente” ranked fourth among the magical towns with the highest number of visits from January to March.
Valladolid is only behind Tulum, Quintana Roo; San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas; and Bacalar, Quintana Roo.

Completing the list are Tepoztlán, Morelos; Valle de Bravo, Estado de México; Taxco, Guerrero; Tequisquiapan, Querétaro; Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo; and Palenque, Chiapas.
According to the website’s analysis, 6 out of 10 Mexican travelers prefer to travel to magical colonial towns and the average stay in these places is 3 to 5 days.
