April 1.- A five year old mongrel puppy traveled yesterday, Friday, from this city to Montreal, Canada, with his new family, so he was at Terminal 3 of the Cancun International Airport (AIC), along with Abby, one of his rescuers.
It is worth mentioning that the lomito is originally from Valladolid, Yucatan, and was rescued by two Canadians who were vacationing in the Magic Town, who upon seeing him in deplorable conditions decided to adopt him and give him a better life.
The tourist said that they took a great gift from the Yucatan Peninsula, because in addition to their vacation, they acquired a life companion, who needs a lot of care and above all a home where he feels loved and protected.
Regarding the requirements of the international airlines, Abby said that they are not so hard, but they must book well in advance to make room for the canine, in addition to having all the necessary measures to travel and be in good health.
After being interviewed, Abby and Isaac went to the boarding lounge where they would take their flight to Canada to start their new life in that country, in a destination where adoption is very common among its inhabitants, since it is not the first time that a Mexican canine crosses the border in the company of a new family, who provide them with a new home after being abandoned somewhere in the State, in this case, in the Peninsula.
