Marijuana shipment seized in the ‘Tresguerras’ parcel service business in Campeche

In an airtight and “fleeting” operation of state agents, National Guard (GN), military and ministerial agents of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) seized a drug shipment, which amounted to about 30 kilos, which arrived at the parcel warehouse located in the Periferico Pablo Garcia I. Montilla in Campeche.

The events occurred in the afternoon, when an anonymous report was made to the emergency number that a “large shipment” of drugs was being transported in the “Tresguerras” parcel company.

This activated the security protocols of the authorities who immediately arrived at the company located between Costera Avenue and the outskirts of the city.

The military quickly surrounded the sector, where FGR personnel, escorted by the canine department of the Secretariat of Citizen Protection and Security (SPSC) and the National Guard (GN), entered the site and searched the packages.

Within 10 minutes, the trained dogs sniffed a large box, which caught their attention, and upon inspection they found several packages “lined” with tape and plastic, the contents of which did not correspond to the box.

Upon inspection it was found that inside the packages there was a substance whose characteristics correspond to marijuana, so they proceeded to confiscate the shipment and transfer it to the courtyards of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) for the investigation of the facts.
