Users of instant messaging services and social networks reported this Thursday morning that the service was down, just as it happened last Sunday morning, April 30, when the services provided by Telcel and Telmex failed.
This Thursday, as happened days ago, telephone calls could not be made either, so it is presumed that it was the same malfunction that occurred previously and left hundreds of thousands of people in the Yucatan Peninsula and other parts of the country without communication.
On that occasion, everything would have been caused by damage to the fiber optics in Quintana Roo as well as in the central part of the country, but apparently no official report was issued to know precisely what caused the problem.
Thursday, the failure occurred at approximately 11:15 a.m., and the service was gradually restored after 12:15 p.m., but intermittently.
