A young man takes the life of his stepfather after witnessing an assault on his mother in the municipality of Yucatán. The events occurred on a property near the Colegio de Bachilleres when the couple were drinking intoxicating beverages and began to argue.
It is reported that the young man wanted to defend his mother and caused the death of his father:
Ignacio, the stepfather, began to beat Olga, his partner, while his son witnessed the aggression, at which point he decided to intervene to help his mother. With a knife in his hand, the boy reached Ignacio on a nearby road and caused him several injuries, one of them in the neck, causing his death.
