Through her social media accounts, a young woman from Yucatán shared a fundraising initiative she is undertaking to raise money and attend Luis Miguel’s concert.
Her name is Perla Cauich, and she invited the residents of Kanasín to participate in her initiative through her Facebook account. The dynamic consists of selling digital photos for 10 pesos each, with the proceeds going towards attending Luis Miguel’s concert.
“I will be taking photos for 10 pesos at the vaquería in Kanasín. The photos are digital and will be sent instantly. For those interested, I will be dressed as a jaranera.” (Sic)
In her post, the young photographer shared her Facebook page, where her work can be seen. The page is called Luismi Fotografía.
Perla, dressed in the traditional Yucatecan attire, took photos at the vaquería in Kanasín, and her friends helped promote her initiative. For example, Ángel Antonio Dzul Santana called on his contacts to support Perla in “achieving one of her big dreams,” which is attending Luis Miguel’s concert.
It is worth noting that recently there was controversy regarding Luis Miguel’s new tour in Mexico, as it was expected that he would perform in Yucatán. However, he will only be performing in states in the central and northern parts of the country.
His tour in Mexico will take place in November and December, with his first concert at the Arena Monterrey on November 15th and concluding the tour in Guadalajara on December 17th.
Fortunately, Perla has around seven months to continue raising money to attend Luis Miguel’s concert, and it is expected that she will continue with the 10-peso digital photo initiative.
