TEPIC, Nay., May 28, 2023.-The Yucatecan sailing team that takes part in the Conade Nationals held in the state of Nayarit, had an excellent participation in the sporting event where they won 4 gold medals, 5 silver medals and two bronze medals.
The Cruz de Huanacaxtle Marina in Nayarit, was the stage where 200 sailors from the states of Baja California, State of Mexico, Guerrero, Jalisco, Quintana Roo, Nuevo Leon, Veracruz, Nayarit and Yucatan, competed for the medals of the sporting event.
Servacio González Malleville in the 11-12 years old category and Mario Maldonado Cámara in the 12-13 years old category in the optimitis modality won gold medals, as did Luna Hagerman Haro in the ilca 6 modality in the 19-22 years old category, and in bic techno 13-14 years old Gael Esquivel Poot closed the list of gold medals in this edition.
Jorge Muñoz Uribe and Alvaro Ramírez Jassa in the categories 10-11 years and 14-15 years respectively won silver in the optimist modality, the same places were occupied by Mauricio Canto Solís in bic techno category 13-14 years, Ricardo Lubcke Escobar in the same modality but category 14-16 years and Mario Burgos Castro in the iqfoil modality 17-18 years mixed.
The bronzes in this discipline corresponded to Bernardo Casares Arrigunaga in kitesurfing category 15-18 years and Enzo Barrera Perez in bic techno modality 13-14 years.
In Jalisco, fencer Gabriel Chan Navarro won the gold medal in sabre in the cadet minor category; in the same category, rowing won a silver medal and the same amount in bronze. Diego Hernández Abundes and Pedro López Mendoza in the 17-18 years category were the medalists for the state in the 2-H and 2X H events, respectively.
