7-year-old run over by a truck on Avenida Libano in the north of Mérida

The death of a child who was run over by a truck on Avenida Libano in the north of Mérida on Tuesday, June 13 around 6:00 p.m. was reported. The minor was identified as Iker Pérez López, age 7, to this day his body remains at the SEMEFO and has not been claimed.

On Thursday, June 15th, the legal representative of the company that owns the vehicle and the driver with the initials CJSC appeared before the ministerial authorities. The guide stated that she was hospitalized due to a nervous breakdown. The investigations to determine legal responsibilities continue.
