During his visit to Chetumal, the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, downplayed the deaths of workers on the Tren Maya.
The President of Mexico stated that there have been few accidents and emphasized that not a single accident has been recorded in Section 1.
“Fortunately, very few. In Section 1, since the work began, there hasn’t been a single accident,” declared Andrés Manuel López Obrador prior to supervising the progress of the Tren Maya in Quintana Roo.
