Speaking about the information given by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal during President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s morning conference, the business leader assured that all these productive infrastructure works for the State “are excellent news for the economic sector”.
“Works such as the Tren Maya, the expansion of the port of Progreso, which is already becoming a reality, the combined cycle plants and the beltway on the Progreso highway for all cargo trucks are not only good news for Yucatán, but also support for Yucatecan companies”.
She said that they are eagerly awaiting the completion of these works, since from here they can get the most out of them; having enough electricity generated from the State is a very good thing, since at the moment it is very expensive and insufficient, “so we hope that with these two plants that are being built in the State we will already have it”.
“Any work that is done to make Yucatan more productive and raise the quality of life of the people, with better jobs and salaries, is good news for us businessmen.”
She affirmed that the CCE will support any new development for Yucatán and hoped that this will be accompanied by social benefits “because economic growth must go hand in hand with this development so that the quality of life of every Yucatecan is better every day”.
Gómory Rivas assured that Yucatecan businessmen are not afraid of competition, with the probable arrival of imported products, but on the contrary, “this helps to make us more competitive, more productive and the products leave here and export our products to reaffirm that what is made in Yucatán is well made and we can compete in the world.
