Continuing its destructive path through different areas of the city, Gas Natural del Noroeste company has begun the construction work for its new excavations, aiming to install a gas pipeline in the northern area of the city.
The ambitious project, which seeks to supply natural gas to industries, businesses, and households that choose to use this energy source, is now taking place on Andrés García Lavín Avenue in the Benito Juárez Norte neighborhood. This avenue is one of the busiest, frequently experiencing traffic congestion during peak hours.
The works, as observed in other locations where it has passed, started on Thursday night and will continue for at least seven days, completely closing one of the two lanes of the mentioned road.
Currently, the workers from the Mexican company specialized in the supply of this energy source are cutting the asphalt pavement before the pipeline installation. Subsequently, trenches will be dug, filled, and finally patched up.
The gas pipeline running along Andrés García Lavín Avenue will connect to the branch on Cámara de Comercio Avenue, near the Pocito roundabout, and will extend to the City Center shopping center, passing through numerous businesses and residences.
From Pocito, the connected gas pipeline will reach the intersection of Villas La Hacienda, where it will continue along Prolongación Paseo de Montejo Avenue, where the Gas Natural del Noroeste company has just completed its work.
